Ampur: In Mittalam, which is close to Ampur, a sacrifice ceremony for followers of Adiparasakthi Tevvadai was conducted on Monday.
The pooja lasted from dawn until midday. Participants included devotees from Kuttakanthur, Byrapalli, Vanniyanathapuram, Melmittalam, Khilmittalam, and Mittalam. A program to provide refreshments to the devotees was held after the puja. The members of the village committee and the devotees of Sevvadai made arrangements for this.v
