Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam said that devotees waited up to 8 hours during the Sarva Darshan to have a darshan of the seven mountain elephants in Tirupati. All the 31 rooms in the Vaikundam Q Complex were filled with devotees.
Thousands of devotees visit Tirumala Tirupati Venkatajalapathi every day. Similarly, lakhs of people visit during the festive season.
As the month of Puratasi is currently underway, they visit the seven mountain elephants. And the Brahmotsavam started from last 4th. The festival runs till October 12.
Garuda Seva, the main day of Brahmotsavam, took place on the 8th. 82,043 people had darshan of Swami on this day. Similarly, 30,100 people gave their prayers.
On that day the bill offering alone was Rs 4.10 crore. In that way we can see how many people visited Perumal on 9th October.
79,753 people visited Perumal in one day yesterday. 29,753 people donated hair. On a single day yesterday, the donation of Rs 3.48 crore was received. Like that, without buying Sarva Darshan ticket through time slot, it took up to 18 hours to get Swami Darshan and was locked in a cage.
