List Your Business / ADThe Panchami Theertham on Friday marked the end of the yearly Brahmotsavam celebrated in Tiruchanur in honor of Mother Padmavati.
On the 28th of last month, the flag was raised to kick off the annual Brahmotsavam for Mother Padmavati of Tiruchanur. On the final day, Friday, the Mother Brahmotsavam came to an end with the Panchami Theertham.
On this special day, the Ezhumalaiyan sent the Seerana Komalamma Chatthiram procession from Tirumala to the Yellow Mandapam in Thiruchanur, where it was transported on an elephant through the Govindaraja Swamy Temple. The procession received the respect it deserved there before being transported to Thirukulakarai.
A 3 kg gold Pandian crown, two diamond bangles, a pair of diamond earrings, a gold Kajalakshmi bracelet, and a diamond necklace were among the items that were shipped as part of the series.

Thirumanjanam: From 10 am to 11.45 pm, at the Panchami Theertha Mandapam, an abhishekam was conducted on Mother and Chakrathazwar using milk, curd, honey, elanik, turmeric, and sandalwood, under the direction of Kananganapatta Srinivasacharya. During that period, Mother and Chakrathazwar were decked out in crowns and garlands composed of different fruits and flowers.
From 12.15 to 12.20 p.m., Panchami Theertham was held at the Thirukkulam in Chakrathazwar. During that period, temple officials and devotees of Tirumala took a sacred dip in the Thirukkulam.
In a golden palanquin, Mother Padmavati rode down the Madaveeti at 7:30 p.m. The elephant flag that had been raised on the flagpole was then lowered.
